The start of this wedding booking was a few years ago when I had first photographed Roisin at my studio. A lot of my wedding work comes via people I’ve worked with on different projects over the years.
We had the most amazing pre-wed meeting at her lab as a Forensic Anthropologist where she taught me some things about bones she was working on! I’ve a huge interest in anything history related so to be so up close to these bones ( and hundreds more) from an Irish old burial ground was an informative day out. My usual pre-wed is about 30 min this day it was 5 hours.
The wedding was at a fave of mine, Darver Castle, any venue with the word Castle is ok with me, yep that history thing again.
I love castles places that have character and history and Darver is one of those great places.
The backdrop and grounds are a photographer’s dream.
The morning started with heavy rain, so I had a wet shirt :/ but thankfully dried out as the weather got better.
