Getting married in Belfast?

Belfast is home, so I've photographed weddings right across the city, from intimate ceremonies at Belfast City Hall to full wedding days in some of Belfast's best-known hotels and venues.

But wherever you're getting married, my approach is the same: relaxed, natural photography, beautiful portraits without hours of posing, and someone alongside you who knows how wedding days actually work.

Most of my couples aren't models and don't want to spend their wedding day pretending to be.

I'll give you enough direction to make sure you look amazing, without making everything feel staged. We'll get the photographs your parents will love, the portraits you'll want on the wall, and all the madness happening around you that you didn't even see.

Then I'll get you back to your wedding.

  • Absolutely. I live around 10 minutes from Belfast city centre, and Belfast City Hall is probably the venue I photograph most often each year.

  • Cathedral quarter, Botanic gardens, Queen’s University are among the most popular locations but there are many more.

  • City hall itself has a few indoor locations, even better if you have a 4pm ceremony as the last one is less rushed. Otherwise we can use a few hotels or indoor places to get some wonderful photos.

  • Around 30 minutes is a good average for family photographs, the bridal party and some relaxed photographs of the two of you. Sometimes we're even quicker; occasionally it takes a little longer if we're travelling to another Belfast location.
